Vehicles bearing foreign license plates are permitted to stay in our country for a maximum of 90 days.

To prevent any inconvenience caused by exceeding this period, the "Foreign License Plate Vehicle Operations" service (https://ypti.ticaret.gov.tr/) has been launched by our Ministry of Trade as of March 23, 2026.

Through this service, access will be provided to current announcements regarding foreign vehicles, the "Vehicle Pre-Declaration Application," the "Frequently Asked Questions" page, the "Vehicle Guide," and pages for paying traffic fines and road, bridge, and tunnel tolls; furthermore, commitment letter operations can also be carried out through this service.
